Just as it reads folks. October needs to be over...just so I can start fretting over the holidays (cards, presents, decorations....oh and the construction going on in my house x_X)
So for this weekend this is where we are at....
Friday night I had thought I was going to be cutting fleece panels for the insides of my fox ears that I plan on sewing Saturday. Instead grocery shopping took 2 hours. Though I did save $20.00 due to double coupons, sales, etc.
Then my husband and I assigned tax numbers to over a total of 60 artist and vendors combined, stuffed packets with tax info, surveys, and thank you notes (Banzai related work)......
Now working on e-mails to various staff members and the City of Layton. @_@ They need to mail me some infos before the convention....
Guess I will be cutting fleece panels around 6am or later in the day. If later in the day, that means I will be sewing fox ears Saturday/Sunday. It's looking more and more like I won't have fox tails available. I am trying though *wibbles*
Also need to finish a commission for a returning customer who will be picking up his set at Banzai. @_@. Also helped a friend out today with his fuzzy accessories. I am starting to think I stretch myself really thin, or I willingly take on too much.
Some how I need to be at the point of packing stock and taking inventory no later than Tuesday night and pack clothes and hygiene items on wed night.
Also need to go get a few things laminated at Kinko's before Wednesday and finish up my records for Banzai finance department. Thursday October 18th is going to be crazy I tell you. I have numerous staff members I will have to hunt down at the DCC, then visit all the hotels Banzai has contracts with so I may place up posters, set up the AA, and then stick around a bit in the designated AA location for early artist check in. At some point I will eat....I think. I hope to be in bed by 1am at the latest that night, because I plan on getting up around 6-6:30 am every day of the con (because I prefer to shower in the morning)
As soon as Banzai is over, I have some tax related items to wrap up and then pay off some personal debt. Hopefully by November I will have my online store up and running with any left over items from Banzai. Then the Banzai calendar year starts all over for me and I also get to start planning my possible 2013 cons and travels.
Psssssssssst .....don' tell anyone, but I am a plan-a-holic
So ya, this is where I am at and why October needs to be over and laid to rest. I will do my best to text message folks, though I may disappear from many of you for like a good month....just a heads up. Now I am off to clean up my craft room so I can actually cut those fleece panels at some point and time.
